Ellumen is seeking a Quality Assurance / Application Tester II to support the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) IT support team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of applications that support NDMS operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, document, and execute test cases based on business and system requirements.

* Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

* Identify, log, and track software defects through resolution using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to validate functionality and system performance.

* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.

* Prepare and maintain detailed testing documentation and test summary reports.

Required Qualifications:

* 2-4 years of hands-on software quality assurance or application testing experience.

* Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

* Experience testing web-based and database applications.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

* Experience developing and executing test scripts based on business and system requirements.

* Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, or similar).

* Familiarity with SQL for data validation and query execution.

* Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

* Prior experience supporting federal government health IT programs.
