Department of Neurology Job Description
(This position is linked to Job ID 57598 Physician Assistant Specialty Care - Neurology - Hospitalist and multiple positions will be filled. Final titles will depend on the qualifications of the final candidates.) The University of Missouri's School of Medicine, Department of Neurology is expanding and searching for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Neurology inpatient services. This is an excellent career opportunity for candidates just starting their careers, as well as experienced candidates to join a thriving academic neurology department. Job Details: * Our team is comprised of 20 neurologists, 14 neuroscientists, and several advanced practice providers * Responsibilities: o Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals to provide care to neurological patients in an inpatient setting. * Benefits o CME Days/ Funding Available * As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department's facilities include: o A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU Shift
Variable hours Minimum Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing degree. Preferred Qualifications
Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
