What you'll be doing...

This role places you at the center of our evolving entertainment and content strategy for Verizon Home Internet. As a Sr. Manager on the Consumer Home Value Proposition team, you will be responsible for leading the charge to ensure our entertainment offerings remain competitive and compelling in a rapidly changing media landscape.

You will have accountability for creating differentiated positioning, packaging and pricing plans to drive household acquisition, total customer profitability, and lifetime value. In order to do so successfully, you'll have to gather deep insight on customer needs, market trends, industry dynamics, and business objectives. The value propositions you develop will serve our existing Consumer Home businesses and products, as well as exciting emerging service areas in streaming video and entertainment, gaming, Wi-Fi home coverage, and more.

You will have ownership over the evolution of the products and services we offer to home customers and will work collaboratively across the extended organizations covering product, promotions, content acquisitions, partnerships, marketing, finance, channel sales and service, network operations, and others - to make them a reality.

  • Design & develop Verizon Home entertainment offerings, including Fios video packaging and pricing and OTT offerings

  • Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, and consumer viewing habits to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in our TV business

  • Design, execute, and leverage consumer market research and competitive analysis, as well as home service industry benchmarking

  • Develop market sizing, opportunity/ROI analysis, and financial analysis to assess the viability of new value propositions, pricing strategies, and product launches

  • Market positioning and Go-To-Market strategy for launching new value props or evolving current market solutions through Verizon product development, partnerships, and processes

  • Present your findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives that drive decisive action

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Relevant work experience in product management, product marketing, or strategy within the media, entertainment, or telecommunications industry.

  • Direct experience in content strategy or managing relationships with content partners, including licensing economics, packaging, and the dynamics between linear and streaming television.

  • Familiarity with media consumption analytics and research tools (e.g., Nielsen).

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into a simple, compelling, and influential story for executive audiences.

  • Experience building strategic frameworks for product positioning, messaging, or value propositions.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $136,500.00 - $238,000.00. The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $136,500.00 - $238,000.00.
