Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Administrative Office Support will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the administrative office and ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative services to support the efficient functioning of the hospital. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership and organizational skills who can effectively manage a team in a healthcare environment.

What you will do:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the administrative office support team, including administrative assistants, receptionists, and other staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, set performance expectations, and provide coaching and mentorship.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily administrative operations, ensuring efficient and organized office support for the hospital.
  • Identify training needs and develop ongoing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the administrative staff.
  • Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for administrative staff and provide constructive feedback for their professional growth, rewarding outstanding performance
  • Assist in handling more complex administrative tasks, such as special projects, budget management, and executive-level support, as necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact for resolving escalated administrative issues.
  • Ensure that patient records, appointment logs, and other critical documentation are accurate, complete, and securely maintained.
  • Foster positive and effective communication within the administrative team and with other hospital departments.
  • Manage the procurement and maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and technology to support efficient office operations.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree Required, Masters Degree Preferred
  • Certification: n/a
  • Experience: 5+ years Administrative experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting. 1 year Experience mentoring, coaching, and guiding a team.
