Description Job Summary The Medical Assistant/Customer Service Rep Float is responsible for assisting physician(s) in providing quality patient care and may have routine interaction and working relationships with patients, family members, physicians, third party payers and other clinic and hospital team members. This position also performs clinical and clerical tasks, such as registering patients, relieving staff members of clerical work and minor administrative and business details by scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, reading and routing incoming mail, filing correspondence and other assigned clerical duties. This position will require the employee to float to all offices within the network practices. The position will provide coverage for individuals who are off for various reasons (eg. sick, FMLA, and vacation) and will require driving between practice locations. Responsibilities And Scope
