Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Workday Technical Analyst plays a critical role in the configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of the Workday platform. This position serves as a technical expert and strategic partner to HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams, ensuring that Workday is aligned with business needs and organizational goals. The analyst is responsible for maintaining system integrity, enhancing functionality, and supporting data-driven decision-making through accurate reporting and analytics. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday modules, business processes, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable solutions and continuous improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: System Configuration & Maintenance
- Configure and maintain Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, etc.)
- Manage security roles, business processes, and calculated fields
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Workday support as needed
Integrations & Data Management
- Develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations
- Ensure data integrity through audits and troubleshooting
- Partner with the Data team to support reporting & data analytics
- Support development of custom reports and dashboards
Upgrades & Enhancements
- Lead regression testing for Workday releases
- Gather and document business requirements
- Recommend and implement new features to improve efficiency
- Support compliance and audit requirements with accurate reporting
Collaboration & Support
- Serve as a liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and other departments
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and stakeholder verification
- Completes additional IT projects or other duties as assigned by management
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or an associate's degree and 2+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of Workday technical experience with Workday Pro Certification or ability to obtain in HCM, Payroll/Workforce Management, Recruiting, Learning, Talent & Performance, Adaptive Planning, Integration & Studio, Prism Analytics, Extend, and/or Reporting & BIRT modules
- Strong understanding of HCM processes and data structures
- Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT
- Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and integrations
- Customer-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a high level of energy, professionalism, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt effectively to fast-paced and evolving IT environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with Microsoft software development platforms and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint is highly desirable
- Strong ability to interpret data and propose actionable solutions

Most often in a typical office environment Additional Job Description: Base Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 The base salary range may vary depending on geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
