Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Play an integral role in keeping our projects running smoothly by ensuring every piece of equipment and material is accounted for, delivered, and performing as it should. At Worley, we're moving towards a more sustainable future-transforming how industrial projects are designed, built, and maintained. As an Equipment Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of that transformation, connecting engineering insights with operational excellence to support complex construction and installation projects on site.

Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our site's materials control system, ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment. This role bridges engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines-helping to ensure that our projects stay on track, on budget, and in compliance with all specifications and standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Review blueprints, engineering documents, and product specifications to accurately determine material and equipment requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all material needs, including codes, brands, and supplier information, ensuring full traceability for every order.
  • Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to adjust material orders based on current inventory levels and standard sizing.
  • Support site operations by maintaining a reliable materials control system-managing logistics from receipt to installation.
  • Oversee the physical distribution and condition of materials and equipment, ensuring safe handling and compliance with site protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system or process issues that impact materials flow, collaborating across disciplines to identify practical solutions.
  • Contribute to progress reporting, material tracking, and project updates with clarity and precision.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to coordinate across engineering, construction, and supply chain teams.
  • Familiarity with materials management systems, processes, and tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize their use.
  • A mindset focused on safety, efficiency, and quality in every decision you make.
