Position Overview:
ISPA Technology, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to provide comprehensive program, logistics, and management support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). This position oversees operational planning, coordination, and reporting activities in support of Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) initiatives, while ensuring efficient material movement, shipping, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience supporting defense-related programs and managing day-to-day operational logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operational activities supporting NSWC PCD program objectives, ensuring effective coordination across engineering, logistics, and test teams. Responsibilities include managing meeting schedules, preparing agendas and presentations, recording meeting minutes, and supporting program reviews and briefings using Government Furnished Information (GFI). The role will also develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project, assist with weekly program reporting, and provide technical writing and editing support for documentation. Additionally, the Operations Manager will manage shipping, receiving, packaging, and transportation of materials and equipment for both CONUS and OCONUS operations, oversee logistics planning for events and material movement, and maintain accurate inventories of supplies and assets. This position ensures full compliance with DoD, program, and company standards for logistics, documentation, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in program operations, logistics, or management support within a DoD or defense contractor environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics tracking systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Experience coordinating shipping, logistics, and inventory management processes.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
