Under general supervision, the CCL Radiology Technologist operates digital radiological imaging equipment in accordance with Title 17 regulations and departmental protocols. The technologist performs and oversees quality control procedures and ensures adherence to all radiation safety principles and practices. This position is responsible for scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the OR Hybrid Room. The technologist assists nursing staff in preparing patients for procedures, ensures the proper functioning of all imaging and interventional equipment, and demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy and hemodynamic monitoring. Additional responsibilities include recording procedural events, performing hemodynamic calculations, operating digital processing equipment, and maintaining quality control standards. The technologist also participates in performance improvement activities, assists with patient transportation as needed, and fulfills on-call responsibilities as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $126,512 - $157,331 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $60.59 - $75.35 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
