Advantage Technical is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer in Arden Hills, MN. We're seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), RF technologies, and medical device development. Schedule: On-site | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Occasional travel required

Pay: Up to $70/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design and development of BLE and RF systems in medical devices, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage the integration, system-level testing, and characterization of BLE/RF components into devices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, manage timelines and resources, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Analyze system performance, troubleshoot RF interference, signal integrity, and optimize power consumption.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture and interface specifications.
  • Ensure all designs meet FDA, ISO, and other relevant regulatory standards; assist in regulatory documentation for BLE telemetry systems.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering
  • 5+ years in systems engineering, with 3+ years in BLE/RF technologies
  • Proficient in BLE protocols, RF design, embedded systems, and signal processing
  • Experience with RF simulation tools and medical device development
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with IoT, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and medical device standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485)
