The Position

Finance Partner

The Opportunity

As a Finance Partner, you will have a unique opportunity to support Roche Service Network (RSN) by providing exceptional finance business partnership to stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues, building trusted relationships with stakeholders navigating our matrixed organization to achieve results. You will have direct exposure to senior leadership, including VP's and the US DIA Finance Leadership Team.

A key component of finance partnership is proactively leading and preparing complex financial and business analyses, often by converting data into insights to facilitate business discussions, drive decision making, and assess return on investment.You will use strong storytelling, financial, and deep business knowledge to communicate key insights, trends, and variances to Leadership Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will be a financial business partner for the Roche Service Network (RSN) and be a member of the Finance Partnering chapter. Main tasks and duties will include (not necessarily limited to):

  • Performing regular analysis, highlighting key trends and variances to targets and developing recommendations to management for corrective actions.

  • Providing insights that enable enterprise outcomes, while steering holistic and sustainable company performance.

  • Demonstrating excellent presentation skills, evidenced by the ability to communicate financial information in a clear, concise manner that fosters understanding and action by senior members of the business.

  • Supporting and leading forecast and budget processes across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission.

  • Working with organizational partners in developing functional and project level forecasts and budgets.

  • Assisting in the creation of forecast and budget presentations for management.

  • Creating state-of-the-art analytics and financial models.

  • Collaborating with internal teams on sales activities, costs, and product analyses.

  • Managing functional costs for supported business teams.

  • Supporting special projects and analysis for supported business partners.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or other business-related field. MBA a plus.

  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally some exposure to the US commercial healthcare market.

  • Excellent stakeholder management with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders.

  • Proven track record of understanding the broader enterprise and leveraging that comprehension to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and results.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Ability to successfully work in a matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • A strategic thinker with strong business acumen and customer orientation as well as proven ability to manage and drive projects.

This position is based in Indianapolis, IN and has an in office requirement of 3 days/wk.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $81,200 - $150,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
