Title: Human Resource Representative
Location: ON-Site, Norfolk, VA Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Pay/Duration: 30.00 per hour 6 months plus contract to direct hire Experience: 2-3 years of experience in human resources or a related field Required Skills: Communication, Problem-solving, HRIS, benefits administration platforms Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and fostering a positive work environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files Process employee data, including new hires, terminations, and benefits changes Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations Communicate benefits information to employees and provide support with benefits-related inquiries Communication and Training: Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees and management Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns in a fair and timely manner Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention Recruitment and Hiring: + Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection + Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure compliance with company hiring policies and procedures Compliance and Risk Management: + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
