The Senior Applications Engineer provides application engineering, development, and sustainment support for a DoD customer. Responsibilities: Analyzes and studies complex system requirements. Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. Supervises software configuration management. Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience: BA/BS in a technical discipline Ten (10) years of experience. DoD Secret clearance required. Must reside within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, PA in order to work onsite. Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 This position is part of a pipeline for a future opportunity supporting a DoD customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and government customer approval.
