The Senior Applications Engineer provides application engineering, development, and sustainment support for a DoD customer. Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.
- Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
- Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
- Estimates software development costs and schedule.
- Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
- Supervises software configuration management.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- BA/BS in a technical discipline
- Ten (10) years of experience.
- DoD Secret clearance required.
- Must reside within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, PA in order to work onsite.
Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 This position is part of a pipeline for a future opportunity supporting a DoD customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and government customer approval.
