Flambeau, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist responsible for managing packaging and proprietary product sales within assigned accounts. This role focuses on building relationships, expanding Flambeau's product range, and pursuing new business opportunities. Success requires a strong understanding of Flambeau's Proprietary Products and Packaging product lines and the ability to sell the value-added capabilities these products offer. This position is hybrid with working at the Madison, WI office 3 to 4 days a week. Essential Duties:
* Set performance goals for major accounts, designing tailored sales programs for various trade segments. * Keep comprehensive, up-to-date records of key accounts and maintain strong relationships within these networks. * Develop and submit annual and three-year sales forecasts for assigned business units, with periodic adjustments based on market trends. * Align sales strategies with company objectives, submitting annual and long-term plans for approval. * Manage budgets and expense controls, ensuring alignment with sales plans and profitability goals. * Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to senior leadership, identifying opportunities and potential threats. * Collaborate with the New Product Development team, providing feedback on product enhancements and potential new offerings. #FLAMBEAUHIGH Education/Certification Requirements: * Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and business development. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO) to support company growth and Education & Certification Requirements Experience & Skill Requirements: * Minimum of five years of experience in sales, sales management, and marketing management. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy. * Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Physical Requirements: * This is primarily an office-based role with minimal physical demands. * Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day). * Occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds. * Regular use of office equipment, including computers, laptops. Supervision Over the Following Roles: No direct supervisory responsibilities but involves collaborative leadership and alignment across the organization. Work Schedule/Overtime/Travel Requirements: * Standard 40-hour workweek, with flexibility to accommodate business needs. * Minimal travel Some evening and weekend availability may be required based on industry events and customer engagements |
