OverviewCome build the core of Microsoft Copilot for enterprise with Microsoft Turing Team, where you'll join a collaborative group of applied scientists and engineers pushing the frontier of large language models (LLMs) to improve the productivity of hundreds of millions of users around the world.Our team is responsible for the core systems that power Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat delivering intelligence, quality, and transformative new features. We work at the intersection of research and engineering-advancing orchestrator reasoning, training next-generation models, and shipping impactful, model-driven experiences in Microsoft 365 Copilot.Shape the way the world measures and trusts AI. In the Experimentation & Evaluation area, you'll define what "good" means for Copilot, by working on metrics, scorecards and eval pipelines across offline, shadow, and online experiments. You'll work at the intersection of science and engineering, gaining a front-row seat to how AI impacts millions of users and help steer one of Microsoft's most important products forward.As a Senior Software Engineer in the Experimentation & Evaluation area, you will build pipelines that power Copilot's measurement and experimentation. You will design reliable systems for offline, shadow, and online scorecards, enabling fast and trustworthy evaluation of AI models and features. ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate.Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. |
