OverviewCome join the HR (Human Resources) Finance team at Microsoft as a Finance Manager, Global Talent Acquisition FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)! You will support Microsoft's Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) organization, driving financial strategy and operational excellence for the team that powers recruiting across the company. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance professional to serve as a trusted advisor and financial steward to GTA. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide end-to-end financial support to the leadership team, driving critical decisions that shape the future of the organization. You will be at the heart of our financial operations, leading resource allocation strategies, setting performance targets, and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, close and reporting processes. You will partner closely with leaders to translate business strategy into financial outcomes, ensuring alignment between operational execution and financial goals. ResponsibilitiesFinancial Performance & Planning: Analyze the financial performance of the GTA team, support leaders in identifying opportunities for resource optimization and ensure our recruiting capacity is aligned to hiring demand. Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.Close & Reporting Support: Provide support during financial close periods and deliver recurring financial reports, forecasts, and executive-ready presentations. Use variance analysis to inform future planning and project decisions.Business Partnership & Insights: Serve as a trusted adviser by responding to partner inquiries and offering insights on financial plans, long-range strategy, and performance trends. Apply Microsoft Finance frameworks to gather, analyze, and present data.Data & Analytics: Leverage data mining, business intelligence tools, and advanced analytics-including predictive modeling and statistical techniques-to generate actionable insights. Continuously enhance data collection and communication methods.Compliance & Controls: Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies, legal standards, and reporting requirements. Provide guidance on documentation, policy interpretation, and business process alignment.Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to high-impact, cross-functional projects that evolve the finance function to meet the growing scale and complexity of the business.Other: Embody our culture and values |
