In this role, you will act as a Human Resources Business Partner with the managers and employees of the T-Can plant (about 70 employees), which is specialized in plastic injection products. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB and is located in Pointe-Claire.
The work model for the role is hybrid, with 4 days per week at the office. This role is a Grade 13.
Responsibilities:
Understand the organization's operations, current and longer-term strategy to identify value-added opportunities for the business. Build strong relationships with leaders of different client groups by ensuring collaboration and the human aspect in decision making. Articulate the needs of the organization to the centers of expertise and global service to ensure relevant support. Participate in the development and sharing of the organization's vision, mobilize and influence the values of leaders to ensure a culture of performance and recognition. Implement key performance indicators, identify opportunities, and ensure delivery. Assume general human resources responsibilities including policy development and interpretation, benefits administration, employee relations and recruitment. Ensure positions are adequately staffed to meet or exceed goals. Interrogate Human Resources analytical data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and define and execute appropriate actions.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience (member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agres is an asset). Bilingual French and English. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside of Quebec. Excellent knowledge of labour law, Workday (asset) and UKG system (asset). Excellent team building, strategic alignment and interdepartmental collaboration skills. Ability to analyze, influence and make decisions that lead to the overall success of the organization.
