You will collaborate with talented engineers to deliver next-generation systems that advance distributed storage and cloud technologies.As a Software Engineer II - Azure Storage, you will drive enhancements for our storage control plane and disks platform to meet the demands of rapidly growing AI-scale workloads. Your role will include driving AI-powered innovations to help Azure Storage scale effectively, resolving system bottlenecks, optimizing performance, and improving resiliency. You will also work across organizational boundaries to support a wide range of Azure products, expanding your influence and contributing to platform-wide improvements.This opportunity offers a chance to deepen your expertise in distributed systems, Azure Storage, and Azure Disks, while sharpening both technical and leadership skills. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to determine requirements for scalable, reliable, and high-performance storage solutions.Deliver the design and implementation of enhancements to optimize the storage control plane for AI-scale workloads.Identify and address bottlenecks in system performance and scalability while driving improvements across the platform.Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to ensure system availability, performance, and fault tolerance, including participation in on-call rotations.Leverage subject matter expertise in Azure Storage and distributed systems to influence technical decisions and product roadmaps.
