The Johns Hopkins Health Plan is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Medicare Advantage Revenue to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance, this highly visible senior role is responsible for Johns Hopkins Health Plans Revenue Program for the Medicare Advantage line of business. The Director also supports creating and facilitating the development and implementation of JHHP programs and initiatives which are acutely designed to stabilize and increase the JHHP Medicare Advantage (Hopkins Health Advantage, or HHA) product that currently generates revenue of over $200M annually.

What you Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, health policy, finance or a related field in required. Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • AHIMA or AAPC (CPC) coding certification Healthcare Coding Practices is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressively responsible related experience in Managed Care including 3-5 years of management experience.
  • 5+ years Medicare Risk Adjustment experience required.
  • Solid knowledge of the industry and cross-functional work experience in the areas of health insurance finance, medical economics, actuarial, underwriting, and/or risk adjustment.
  • Demonstrated success in improving Risk Adjustment measures.
  • Project management experience in the healthcare field is strongly preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and exposure to Federal and State regulations.

Salary Range: Minimum 165,078.00/annually - Maximum 213,412.00/annually. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
