Defense Intelligence and Operations Analyst, Mid

The Opportunity:

As an intel analyst, you know that the intelligence community provides national leaders the information they need to keep our country safe. As an intelligence analyst at Booz Allen, you'll use your proficient problem-solving skills to secure national assets through research and analysis of sensitive information. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients obtain information superiority and impact future force planning decisions for the Department of Defense.

This is your opportunity to use your expertise in intelligence collection and products to influence future Defense decision-making. As an intelligence analyst on our team, you'll work with our DoD clients in the areas of threat analysis and foreign military capabilities. Partnering with a team of highly technical operation research analysts, data scientists, and data engineers, you'll develop and deploy tools to model and assess non-U.S. military capability to inform DoD decision-making. From project discovery to influencing mission stakeholders, you'll resolve complex problems that have an end-to-end impact on our nation.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in intelligence

  • Experience with assessing foreign military capability

  • Experience using data and information from the DIA Joint Country Force Assessment (JCOFA)

  • Experience contributing to analytic teams consisting of operations research, data science, and data visualization analysts

  • Knowledge of foreign military management of forces, units, equipment, or infrastructure data

  • Knowledge of the DoD's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, & Execution (PPBE) process and associated data

  • Ability to communicate effectively and draft clear and concise analysis findings

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in intelligence

  • Experience conducting operations research analysis

  • Experience with B and I software tools such as Tableau or Qlik

  • Experience with programming languages or analytical software suites, including Python, SAS, R, or MATLAB

  • Knowledge of advanced data science techniques including the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Data Analytics

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
