We are looking for an experienced Lead Contracts Manager with a proven track record of providing outstanding and timely legal support. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business, product and sales executives and drive strategic deals and initiatives with some of our largest customers. You will negotiate complex legal agreements and work with cross-functional teams of lawyers, finance and accounting specialists, product managers and sales teams in order to solve legal and business challenges. You will be part of a highly-collaborative, close-knit team and work in an exciting, fast paced environment. What you will do every day: Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of licensing, software as a service, data privacy, confidentiality, and professional services agreements Be the first point of contact in Legal for the Sales organization Identify, advise on and help resolve legal and business issues in a practical manner while still protecting BMC Helix's interests Respond promptly to requests for help from internal clients. Background/Qualifications: Required 4-year college degree; JD not required Minimum of 7-10 years' experience drafting and negotiating complex technology-related/SaaS agreements in support of a sales organization Experience working with federal or public sector entities is a requirement Contract Manager Certification is a Plus Personal Characteristics that will make you successful: Customer-focused mentality Team player able to work well and collaborate with colleagues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to balance multiple challenging responsibilities simultaneously while remaining responsive to internal clients and Helix customers Demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with key cross-functional stakeholders Show flexibility and an openness to new ways to solve problems Enjoy working independently while being able to contribute successfully to multi-functional teams Our commitment to you!
