BASIC PURPOSE:


The Oracle VBCS/OIC Developer will be responsible for developing/enhancing applications utilizing the Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) technology. The developer will collaborate with functional/technical leads and other implementation team members to execute the implementation strategy and ensure that applications/dashboards are developed according to technical specifications. The developer may also develop integrations utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Create/enhance applications, extensions, and dashboards using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
  • Create/enhance integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Build interactive content in VBCS to facilitate processing and monitoring of key integrations.
  • Develop scalable and reusable components in VBCS
  • Utilize various integration methods including REST/SOAP services, XML/JSON/flat file payloads, and other common adapters.
  • Integrate with internal/external systems both into and out of Oracle ERP including, but not limited to, the following modules: Financials (AP, AR, PPM), HCM (Time & Labor, Payroll, Absences)
  • Execute tasks in support of the overall implementation strategy, working closely with the functional, technical, and development teams/leads.
  • Test, diagnose, and optimize performance of VBCS pages and OIC integrations.
  • Ensure error handling, logging mechanisms, and troubleshooting capabilities are incorporated into all solutions.
  • Validate the integrated data to ensure it is correct, complete, and consistent with expected results.
  • Create technical documentation, e.g., TDDs, migration documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide general guidance on design and integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to support development, testing, and go-live tasks.
  • Adhere to system development and integration best practices.
  • All other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in information systems/technology, or a related field is desired.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications are strongly preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years developing with VBCS.
  • 3+ years developing integrations using OIC.
  • 5+ years working with Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM
  • Functional knowledge of the source/target modules. This includes, but is not limited to, Core HR/HCM, OTL, Payroll, Absences, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, PPM.
  • Technical knowledge of the underlying/supporting interface, error, processing, and validation tables.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills required
  • Effective communication skills to explain integration concepts and solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the comfort and ability to present to both functional and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Company equipment(laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse headset) will be provided directly to you for use during employment.
