      | Position Summary |  
      
        The Social Clinical Research Assistant will be working with Dr. Guorong Wu and his team on an 
        NIH-funded research education program focused on the application of machine learning and image processing techniques in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. They will support the course development and student recruitment for the ongoing summer education program (
        UNC-
        PRIMES).  |  
       
      
      | Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |  
      
        Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.  |  
       
      
      | Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |  
      
        Significant experience in computer science and/or computer engineering is required. An understanding and knowledge of course development and best learning practices required. Interest in furthering education for the next generation of scientists should be evident.  |  
       
      
      | Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |  
      
        Experience on machine learning and medical applications is preferred.  |
