This is an exciting new leadership role for our large and dynamic manufacturing site! We're looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Operations/Production Training Manager to elevate our campus-wide training programs. In this highly visible role, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and dotted line reporting into Plant Leadership, you will be responsible for setting, executing, and continuously improving our campus-wide training strategy. You will also lead, mentor, and develop a team of Trainers and a Training Specialist to ensure the highest standards of operational excellence and employee development. 
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION
 Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Training Specialists and Trainers, promoting a high-performance, collaborative team environment. Operate as the primary expert and advocate for all operational training at the site, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. Proactively identify and develop training needs for personnel in various manufacturing, certification, and re-certification tasks and processes through robust internal collaboration and data analysis. Assess additional training needs and vet external providers to meet the strategic and specialized needs of the business. Maintain proper training documentation for all employees, ensuring audit-readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain data and report out on critical training and team performance metrics for identified locations, providing actionable insights leadership. Stays current with emerging learning technologies, adult learning principles, and best-in-class operational training concepts, implementing innovative solutions as appropriate.  
 
YOU HAVE:
 Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) in Education, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience (6+ years of manufacturing/operations based training) will also be considered. 4+ years of experience within operations training required, with significant exposure to a large-scale manufacturing environment. 2+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring a team of trainers or specialists is essential. Proven expertise in end-to-end training strategy development and execution, including needs assessment, content development, facilitation, and impact measurement. Demonstrated ability to teach, facilitate, and influence groups using data-driven insights for decision-making and continuous improvement. Outstanding ability to build relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organization, from front-line employees to Plant Leadership. A highly self-directed, proactive leader with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
  Compensation Range: $89,300.00 - $165,800.00
