The Financial Reporting Manager will serve as a key bridge between Accounting and FP&A, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role requires both strong accounting expertise and technical aptitude to manage, streamline, and enhance reporting processes within the ERP and financial reporting systems (such as NetSuite and Vena). The Financial Reporting Manager will play a key role in the creation of the annual financial statements and will lead in technical accounting matters, including research, analysis and implementation of new standards. The position is critical to providing leadership with reliable data and insights that drive business decisions, ensuring that reporting reflects both compliance needs and strategic priorities. By connecting the details of accounting with forward-looking planning, this role helps maintain financial integrity, supports growth initiatives, and enables scalable processes as the company expands. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, a problem solver, and a clear communicator.

• Department: Accounting
• Base Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 annually
• Bonus: 15% annual incentive target
• Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
• Location: Denver

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* Oversee preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
* Act as a bridge between Accounting and FP&A by translating accounting results into insights and actionable reports for business leaders.
* Manage and maintain reporting mappings and hierarchies within financial reporting systems, including NetSuite and Vena, ensuring data integrity, accuracy of reporting structures, and alignment with chart of accounts.
* Partner with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot system issues, implement updates, and optimize reporting capabilities.
* Develop and implement standardized reporting templates and dashboards to support decision-making across departments.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes by ensuring data consistency between actuals and planning systems.
* Lead efforts in technical accounting matters, including research, analysis, and implementation of new standards.
* Manage creation of annual financial statements for annual audit.
* Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to provide requested reporting and supporting documentation.
* Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability in financial reporting.
* Perform other duties as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Required:
* Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles and corporate accounting practices.
* Advanced technical aptitude with financial systems (NetSuite, Vena, or comparable ERP/EPM systems).
* Experience in technical accounting research and documentation.
* Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
* Ability to design and troubleshoot reporting structures and data flows.
* Excellent relationship building skills to collaborate across accounting, FP&A, and business teams.

Preferred:
* Prior experience in the food and beverage industry or consumer goods.
* Experience implementing or enhancing reporting systems (ERP/EPM) (NetSuite and Vena preferred).
* Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Process improvement mindset and experience driving automation.

EDUCATION - TRAINING - EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
* CPA and experience in public accounting strongly preferred.
* 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or FP&A.
* Experience working in mid-sized to large companies with complex reporting needs.
