The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will coordinate and conduct comprehensive testing of IT systems, including scenario, regression, and automation testing. Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing test cases, managing defects, and building automation frameworks. The role involves working with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, SQL, and Azure DevOps, and requires expertise in Python, Java, and JavaScript. This is a remote role with extensive collaboration across departments. The analyst will mentor junior team members and contribute to process development, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Competencies: Functional:  
 - Develop and execute test plans, strategies, and scenarios based on system requirements.
 - Design and automate test cases for UI, API, and database testing.
 - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
 - Conduct defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution.
 - Build and maintain automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications: 
 - BS or BA required, MS or MBA desired.
 - 10+ years related Quality Assurance leadership experience required (12+ years preferred).
 - Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Testingincluding general system testing, scenario and regression testing
 - Minimum 10 years' experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
 - Minimum 10 years' experience with testing tools and technologies, such as defect tracking tools, test management tools, and test automation frameworks.Proven experience (8+ years) in test automation and performance testing. Advanced skills (8+ years) in Python, Java, and JavaScript. Expertise in SQL and in Database Testing. Deep expertise (8+ years) in Selenium, JMeter, and API testing frameworks. In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines with hands-on experience integrating solutions into Azure DevOps.
 - In-depth understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
 - Advanced proficiency in executing test cases, logging defects, and managing defect lifecycles.
 - Expert analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
 - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders
 - In-depth experience with industry tools: Smartsheets, SharePoint, Power BI, preferred.
 - Proven experience with writing, maintaining and improving automated test scripts. Advanced knowledge of HTML, Excel, and relevant scripting for automation and reporting.
 - Insurance Industry, Big 4 Advisory, Financial Services experience desired
 - Proven experience managing large scale process development/improvement initiatives, including the implementation of automated test scripts.

 - As this role is a remote role, you are required to maintain internet service that allows you to complete your essential job duties without issue. Rates of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload while hardwired and not on a VPN are sufficient.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:  
 - 12+ years related Quality Assurance leadership experience with 10+ years in building test automation frameworks.
 - Deep expertise/best practices experience with:
  
   - Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements, features, and functionalities. Develop test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios based on project objectives, system architecture, and business requirements. Maintain test documentation, automation metrics, and execution reports. Utilize HTML, JavaScript, and Excel for result visualization, reporting, and custom dashboarding.
 - Test Case Development: Design, create, and document test cases and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure that test cases cover all aspects of the system under test, including positive and negative scenarios, error handling, and edge cases, and automation.
 - Test Execution: Execute test cases and test scripts to validate system functionality, data integrity, and performance. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure system stability and reliability. Perform Database Testing using SQL to validate data integrity and backend logic. Conduct API Testing using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Perform Performance Testing using JMeter, identifying bottlenecks and scalability issues.
 - Defect Management: Identify, track, and report defects using defect tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
 - Test Environment Setup: Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to set up and configure test environments. Ensure that test environments are representative of the production environment to accurately simulate real-world scenarios.
 - Test Data Management: Create and manage test data sets, ensuring they cover various test scenarios and edge cases. Develop and maintain test data repositories for efficient test case execution and reusability.
 - Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation, develop short and long-term strategies, and work with the automation team to develop and maintain automated test scripts. Execute and monitor automated tests to increase testing efficiency and coverage. Design and build automation frameworks from scratch for UI, API, and database testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, and JavaScript. Implement and maintain Selenium-based UI automation for web applications. Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps. Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless integration of automation into the software delivery lifecycle.
 - Test Reporting and Documentation: Generate test reports, including defect reports, test execution status, and test coverage. Document test procedures, test results, and other relevant documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
 - Practice/Process Development: Contribute to Quality Assurance practice development via innovation, process development, knowledge sharing, and bringing new ideas/ solutions to fruition though change management and delivery.
 - Project Management: Successful coordination/ facilitation of all aspects of an initiative (or workstream within an initiative), to bring about the desired results.
 - Relationship Management: Manage relationships and expectations of workstream/project. Influence, collaborate, and partner with several diverse stakeholder functions through effective communication and well-tuned interpersonal skills.
 - Leadership: Operate at a "vision" level; act as a change agent where necessary and motivate a project team in support of meeting an initiative or business objective. Mentor junior Quality Assurance team members, supporting individual development and team excellence.
 - Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate ability to map/develop processes with Voice of the Customer in mind, while challenging institutional norms. Evaluate organizational/area metrics to ensure that they promote appropriate behavior/success. Determine continuous improvement tools. Evaluate lessons learned.
 - Communication/Collaboration: Support development and delivers transparent, proactive communication across multiple levels of the organization. Clearly communicate/coordinator team progress by demonstrating teamwork with other workstreams/project leads.
 - Schedule/Time Management: Monitor project process against commitments; ensure project resource time estimates are accurately reflected in project management tool to facilitate reporting on actuals for cost estimates.

Zone A: $74,260.00-$123,760.00 Zone B: $80,940.00-$134,900.00 Zone C: $87,150.00-$145,250.00 FLSA Status: Salary/Exempt
