Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Software Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud Solutions and Interdisciplinary Services (CSIS) team. This position reports to the Software Engineer Squad Leadand is responsible forcontributing to engineering efforts across client-facing projects under the guidance of senior engineers. These may include Computer-Aided Mass Appraisal (CAMA) systems and other cloud-native applications.Qualified candidates are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and excited to grow their technical capabilities in a collaborative professional services environment.

What You Will Do:



  • Assist in technical discovery sessions with clients to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable code in languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Node.js under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of backend services, APIs, and database implementations following established patterns and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, front-end/mobile developers, and cloud architects to support project delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
  • Help develop prototypes and working demos to support client presales and discovery activities.
  • Learn and apply DevOps practices to support development workflows and deployment processes.
  • Follow security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Document code, processes, and technical decisions to support team knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes.
  • Support observability practices including logging and monitoring for production systems.
  • Learn Everything as code (EaC) tools and practices under mentorship.
  • Contribute to version control and release management processes.


What You Will Bring:



  • College degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Testing, or a related field with a focus on research, analysis, and documentation.
  • Mid-Level Developer experience in software engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and iOS operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with computer settings that impact performance or data communication.
  • Ability to self-learn through documentation, videos, and product knowledge bases.
  • Strong attention to detail, motivation, and thoroughness.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Having background in CAMA is a Plus.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
