Now Hiring: Electrician

Location: Warren, MI

Pay: $32.26 per hour

Schedule: 2nd or 3rd Shift

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Advance your career with Advantage Technical! We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, automated equipment, and plant machinery while supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do



  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, production machinery, and automation equipment with minimal supervision
  • Work with PLCs, control systems, AC/DC circuits, and low/high-voltage systems
  • Install wiring, conduit, power drops, and build panels per electrical schematics
  • Read, interpret, and update electrical drawings, ladder logic, and line-ups
  • Support mechanical tasks, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotic systems as needed
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Use diagnostic tools, meters, and test equipment to identify and repair electrical issues
  • Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work to maintain production goals
  • Follow safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures at all times
  • Recommend spare parts, upgrades, and continuous improvement solutions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment



Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Electrical Journeyman license or equivalent industrial electrical experience
  • Ability to pass an electrician aptitude test
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical codes, OSHA safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Electrical diagnostics and test instruments
    • PLC troubleshooting (programming a plus)
    • Hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automation
    • Reading and interpreting schematics and ladder diagrams


  • Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
