This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at CUMC is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science center's working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a full-time primary care physician to join the team at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian.

Key Responsibilities:



  • This physician will spend half of their time leading and providing care in an innovative Newborn Clinic program.
  • The Newborn Clinic serves families in the Washington Heights community, offering newborns their first outpatient visits within 3-5 days of birth. The clinic addresses early neonatal health concerns, supports breastfeeding and parenting, connects families with a medical home, and offers education and psychosocial support.
  • The remaining half of the physician's time will be dedicated to providing general pediatric care in the outpatient practices of the NewYork-Presbyterian Ambulatory Care Network.
  • This role also includes supervising and teaching pediatric residents.
