We are currently hiring for:

Job Title HACCP Coordinator

Job Summary: As a HACCP Coordinator you will support and help ensure that all organizational policies and procedures are followed in the safety of our products. You will be responsible for making sure corrective actions are taken and preventative procedures are completed.

Compensation Details: Minimum hourly wage is $19.43 per hour and will depend on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Reviews all HACCP CCP and prerequisite program records to ensure they are complete, correct in compliance with current HACCP plan and USDA guidelines.
  • Does HACCP-product reconciliation to make sure all finished products are accounted for on paperwork.
  • Making sure all required observations/monitoring are being correctly documented.
  • Is responsible for making sure corrective and preventative actions are completed.
  • Maintains sorting, filing and shredding system for all HACCPs, Pre-shipment reviews, QA AQLs, and operations paperwork for the entire plant.
  • Make sure paperwork is kept up to date.
  • Verifies and updates label approvals
  • Makes sure USDA has correct accessibility of plant paperwork.
  • Make sure all updates are recorded correctly.
  • Helps facilitate the implementation of new HACCP programs and plant training.
  • Flow Charts-Walks the process to make sure the flowchart represents the actual process.
  • Helps troubleshoot and brainstorm new process implementation needs.
  • Constantly improving current processes by justifying needs and obsolete steps to increase productivity.
  • Reviews and suggests changes/updates to current forms, reports and paperwork as needed - carries out any approved changes.
  • Keeps good working relationships with USDA, R&D, operations, accounting, the CI group and sanitation to help make sure processes are the most efficient on a daily basis.
  • Inventories QA Lab and QA tech supplies through EAM to make sure POs are made and approved as needed at each facility.
  • Main contact for QA plant vendors
  • Troubleshoots all QA Lab and QA tech equipment before being sent for repair.
  • Orders new equipment when needed.
  • Maintain new CCP/HACCP training & licensing program to be used throughout the plant.
  • Assist in preparation and participation in all 3rd party audits.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a lab or Quality Assurance experience is preferred.
  • HACCP certification plan is preferred.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to practice good personal hygiene.
  • Work extended hours, weekends and overtime if needed.
  • Experience if food manufacturing or processing a plus.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Good customer service skills are a must.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Must be able to problem solve.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good customer service skills are a must.
  • Advanced computer skills including Google Suite.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
