Job Description

Kearney & Company is seeking a University Relations Recruiter to join its Alexandria, VA, team.

The University Relations Recruiter is responsible for supporting Kearney & Company's overall campus recruitment execution. This position directly supports the University Relations Team with candidate sourcing, coordinating candidate interviews, candidate relationship management, developing and maintaining favorable relationships with internal and external stakeholders including a variety of campus relationships, creating innovative candidate engagement strategies for maintaining talent pipelines, developing, analyzing, and proactively maintaining University Relations metrics/trends, extensive company branding initiatives, committing to increasing internal awareness of campus recruitment service offerings, activities, and programs, execute on campus/virtual recruitment event/career fair planning, and will have direct involvement with executing the Summer Internship Program and Summer Externship Program. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned according to the needs of University Relations team and customer/client.

The University Relations team ultimately supports Kearney's billable Business Unit(s) (BU) and their Leadership in various customer service aspects of full life cycle campus recruitment. This University Relations Recruiter will work in a team-oriented environment within the Talent Acquisition department and will need to develop strong relationships with other working professionals and leaders throughout the Firm.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (esp. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
  • Experience with detailed scheduling and the organization of Outlook calendars
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time (majority East Coast travel)
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands listed below, though not fully inclusive, must be met by a candidate/employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee is frequently required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, employee/candidate giveaways, etc. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (US citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of campus recruiting experience
  • Exposure or familiarity with other campus recruitment management tools such as Handshake and Yello
  • Experience with ICIMS applicant tracking system
  • Experience with recruitment strategies and event coordinating
  • Proven capability to work independently and on a multi-functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner
  • Focus on providing top notch customer service experience

The expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $72,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
