Overview
 The Procurement Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to support research, development, and manufacturing operations. The Procurement Sourcing Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and legal, to support new product development, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include analyzing supplier capabilities and market conditions, evaluating competitive bids, supporting supplier audits and visits, and maintaining up-to-date contract documentation. The role also contributes to strategic sourcing goals such as cost reduction, lead time optimization, and improved inventory turnover. Staying current with market trends and material innovations is essential to ensure sourcing strategies align with organizational goals and evolving industry demands, while complying with HIPAA, FDA, and ISO 13485 regulations.
