During your 10-week program as an SDR Intern, you will support the sales and sales development teams by identifying and qualifying potential leads through outbound outreach, research, and initial engagement. You'll learn how to use CRM tools, craft compelling messaging, and communicate effectively with prospects to set up meetings for sales development representatives. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in sales, develop business acumen, and contribute to pipeline growth in a fast-paced environment.

Interns at Jack Henry earn $25.00 per hour and work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Our Summer 2026 Internship Program will run from June 1 through August 7, 2026.

This position is based out of one of our designated hub locations: Charlotte, NC * Allen, TX * Springfield/Monett, MO * Louisville, KY * Cedar Falls, IA * Birmingham, AL.

What you'll be responsible for:

Throughout this program, you will learn fundamental sales skills not taught in a traditional collegiate study program such as:

  • The practice of researching prospects on LinkedIn, and the industry websites (i.e., FDIC, bank's website, etc.).
  • Learning the competitive landscape of our clients/prospects and for the solutions being positioned in prospect/client discussions.
  • Learn a variety of JH products and discussing the problem each solution can solve for the bank.
  • Network with Sales and Sales Development Reps on opportunities identified by Sales and Sales Development teams.
  • Experience the early-stage sales cycle with a Sales Development Rep.
  • Exposure to the Jack Henry Corporate Leadership Team.
  • Tracking, sharing, and discussing campaign KPIs for the success of their calling/email efforts.

What you'll need to have:

  • Actively pursuing a college degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field.

  • Junior or senior standing at the start of the internship program come June 2026.

  • Demonstrated foundational knowledge or early experience in communication-written, verbal, or interpersonal.

  • Interest in a career in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.

  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and not require sponsorship for employment authorization now or in the future.

  • Basic understanding of the FinTech and Financial Institution industry.
