Roles and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for analyzing and tracking Allied and North American agents' insurance certificates and/or policies. Verifying that insurance coverages are current and in compliance in accordance with the Van Line's insurance requirements. Communicate non-renewal coverages and deficiencies to the Van Line Agent and their insurance brokers and provide explanation of insurance requirements as needed.

Update database upon expiration of coverage and receipt of acceptable certificates. Respond to coverage cancellations and require reinstatement notice from insurance carriers. Assist with training of administrative employees. Confer with counsel for Legal advice regarding insurance laws.

Analyze drivers' insurance coverages and respond to Safety and Driver Qualifications Departments, insurance brokers and our van line agents regarding drivers' compliance. Recognize and understand the different lines of drivers' insurance and their extent of coverage. Maintaining

Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance License through continuing education courses

Analyze and monitor Allied & North American's liability insurance and Workers' Compensation insurance lines of coverage. Communicate and explain to Agent/Brokers phone/e-mail regarding unacceptable certificates of insurance, insufficient coverage levels, lack of required coverage, and explanations of insurance requirements. Update Insurance database upon expiration of coverage and receipt of acceptable renewal certificates. Respond to coverage cancellations and reinstatements. Confer with counsel for legal advice regarding insurance laws. Communicate Agents' insurance deficiencies to upper management for agent's suspension

Analyze drivers' insurance coverage and Canadian agents' insurance coverage and respond to Driver Safety, Driver Qualifications, Brokers and Agents regarding insurance compliance. Recognizing and understanding different lines of drivers' insurance and their extent of coverage.

Notify Agency Services Department of any non-compliance and restrict agents to their state of domicile if they do not comply with our interstate insurance requirements

Notify Department Management of any key or significant changes that occur in the insurance industry and keeping abreast of state statutes. Maintaining Brokers' License through continuing education courses

  • Licensed in Commercial Property and Causality
  • Bachelor's degree preferred



Qualifications and Experience Requirements



  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking

  • Position Title: Certificate and Coverage Analyst
  • Salary Range: $58,000 - $63,000 USD
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Employer HSA Match, Life & Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off, Volunteer Time Off, ID Theft Protection Plan and more. Benefits are based on employment status and may not be available for temporary or part-time employees.



Salary ranges may vary based on location, market conditions, and other factors such as experience and qualifications. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process based on these considerations.
