The Center for Healthcare Equity in Kidney Disease (CHEK-D) Research Scientist will provide a wide range of research tasks under a NIH funded project in patients with kidney disease. This position will be responsible for complex scientific research activities, including data collection and auditing, steady involvement in routine meetings with the Principal Investigator and preparing summary reports. The Research Scientist will work closely with the Director and research team, including other external collaborators, to contribute to the maintenance, oversight and success of the Center's research projects.

  • * Ability to design, organize, and coordinate scientific research projects
  • * Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce research procedures

Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a health-related field
  • Nursing assistant certificate
  • Proficiency in REDCap, PowerChart and Ottr
  • Experience with kidney transplant patients
