As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and respond to incidents at a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to be attentive and responsive as you interact with the public and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities in and around the government facility.
• Support access control processes, including verifying identification and authorizations as required for entry to restricted areas.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all patrols and security-related activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or critical situations.
• Uphold all Allied Universal and client policies while maintaining a high level of visibility throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
