Senior Tax Associate
About the Role

The Senior Tax Associate will play a key role in supporting a growing tax advisory practice by managing federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance for a mix of private clients and private equity-backed clients. This position offers exposure to the firm's leadership and collaborative work with directors, managers, and other senior associates. The role provides the flexibility to work fully remote while contributing to a team focused on high-quality, efficient client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Manage tax engagements for private clients (high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, trusts) and private equity clients (partnership tax).
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to provide technical tax guidance and ensure high-quality work.
  • Assist in maintaining client relationships and ensuring engagement efficiency.
  • Contribute to process documentation and improvements to enhance team workflows.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation or eligibility preferred.
  • 2-5 years of progressive public accounting experience, ideally with exposure to private client services, family high-net-worth clients, or private equity-backed partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance.
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the team.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
