Position Overview: Social Work Supervisor

Join our team as a Social Work Supervisor, where you'll lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of our social services program within the Medical Center. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of high-quality clinical and administrative support while fostering collaboration across various departments and community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to social work staff, managing recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of program goals, policies, and procedures, ensuring staff comprehension and compliance.
  • Assist in budget preparation and grant administration to support program initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Medical Center administration and community social/health organizations.
  • Deliver direct social work services to patients as needed in specialized cases.
  • Assess service delivery effectiveness and ensure staff compliance with established standards.
  • Oversee the performance and training of students and volunteers within the program.
  • Maintain accurate records and compile statistical data to aid in planning and fiscal management.
  • Participate in key Medical Center committees, contributing your expertise to enhance overall service delivery.


Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Current LCSW licensure is required.
  • Strong analytical skills to address complex issues and improve clinical and administrative systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead and negotiate with staff and peers, resolving conflicts amicably.
  • Completion of the Training Checklist for Managers and Supervisors within the first year of employment or promotion.

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
