Allied Universal is Hiring a GSOC Shift Lead to work at a Tech Company located in Milpitas, Ca!

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

2 Shifts Available: Day / Grave

Requirements:

*Active CA Guard Card

*Active State Drivers License of 1 or more years

*Prior GSOC Lead / Supervisor Experience 1 or more years

*Security experience of 2 or more years

*Intermediate to advanced technology skills

*Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate)

*Use of personal electronic devices while on duty is prohibited

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Shift Lead. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator supports the Global Security Management and other business function leaders for a high-profile customer. This role executes the various core functions of the GSOC to include, but not limited to, incident recognition/escalation, emergency response, product security, and physical security. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator acts as a partner working closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business to understand information requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Carry out all core GSOC Operator duties, including monitoring global threat intelligence, video surveillance, access control, alarms, and life safety systems; responding to incidents; and coordinating emergency support.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring timely and accurate communication to site, regional, and enterprise-level leadership.
  • Mentor and guide GSOC team members to strengthen skills, improve performance, and maintain best practices.
  • Identify operational gaps and lead process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Establish and uphold GSOC standards for operational excellence, compliance, and customer service.
  • Take initiative in dynamic situations, acting decisively and reliably on high-priority tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Maintain situational awareness across global operations and ensure effective coordination during crises.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve complex issues and improve collaboration.
  • Support the rollout of new technologies, workflows, and playbooks to optimize GSOC operations.
  • Accurately document incidents, escalations, and process improvements in designated platforms.
  • Perform other leadership duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or a related field highly preferred; and/or a minimum of three (4) years of relevant experience in a GSOC environment, Emergency Operations Center, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, or a related security discipline.
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring peers and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with GSOC technologies (CCTV, access control, incident management platforms, mass notification systems, threat intelligence tools).
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to make sound decisions in fast-changing or ambiguous situations.
  • Highly dependable and trusted to manage sensitive information and critical tasks independently.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Military and/or law enforcement experience
  • College degree in Communications, Criminal Justice, or related field of study
