The Department of Food Science in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking Part-time Lecturers or Co-adjutants to teach or Co-adjutants to provide academic support for various undergraduate or graduate courses such as: Food and Health; Field to Table; Food Process Engineering; Current Issues in Food Science and Food Law; Food Product Development; Food Microbiology Lab; Carbohydrates in Foods; Nutragenomics & Nutraceuticals, and possibly others during the Spring 2026 semester.
The instructors will present course materials during assigned course times and non-teaching co-adjutants will provide academic support. Other duties include holding office hours, administering exams, assigning grades and coordinating any other requirements related to course instruction. Applicants should specify which course is of primary interest. |

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Interested candidates should have a degree in food science preferably at the MS or PhD level. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated evidence of past teaching effectiveness and experience. |
