JOB SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of production machines and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, operate, and reassemble production machines and equipment.
  • Clean equipment, tools, and departmental areas in accordance with company-established rates and guidelines.
  • Dispense and mix various cleaning chemicals as per company requirements.
  • Complete all job duties following the company's safety and quality guidelines.
  • Accurately document and complete all required system transactions.
  • Utilize personal protective gear as per company guidelines.
  • Ensure timely cleaning and sanitation of all equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Dispose of trash and maintain a thoroughly clean work area.
  • Remove unused products, boxes, and utensils to ensure a clear workspace.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Knowledge):

* Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry, with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

* Proficient in computer use and standard Microsoft Office software.

* Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Willingness to work in varying temperatures and wet/dry environments.

* Ability to safely multi-task in a dynamic setting.

* Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. and possessing basic math and reading skills.
