Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport

As a Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer supporting a government location, where you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires you to be armed and to drive as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with location protocols.
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents on the premises.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any concerns to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
