Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a leading aerospace and defense location. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and care. This position requires a valid driver's license as part of our driving requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and on-site personnel regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
