Security Guard - Full-Time Tech Patrol

As a Security Guard - Full-Time Tech Patrol in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within dynamic tech and telecom locations. Your presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents while offering outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report them promptly according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
