Our small and dedicated Adult Daily Living Center provides a structured program of activities and health related services for older adults as well as respite to family members who are caring for their loved ones. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

With our team, you will provide a variety of services to care for the social, mental, and physical support needs of clientele of the center. These services include personal care, taking and recording vitals, serving snacks and meals, feeding assistance, planning and providing recreational activities, assisting with ambulation, and generally overseeing participants during their time with us. Participants who may have been isolated get to interact with peers, share in activities, and benefit from new friendships. Being a people-person is key as you will become familiar with each individual client, participate in their care planning and treatment goals, and get to know who they are as a person. Your work will rely on your awareness of policies and regulations that keep our participants safe. On the job training is provided and close supervision is provided by a Licensed Practical Nurse. - Full-time employment
- Work hours vary, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Employee is required to be flexible in scheduling to meet client needs.
- Employee may have overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from high school; or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening. A physical and tuberculosis test are required.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
