Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse

D/E/N Rotation, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs

36 hours/week ONLY

Job Duties:

A Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit whose primary focus is the critically ill Neuro patient who requires a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnosis includes traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. A brand new state-of-the-art, 12 bed ICU.

Job Requirements:

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years RN with ICU acute care experience
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills and ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care
• Telemetry Experience Required

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry Experience Required

Skills:

• RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
• RN with ICU experience. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills and ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care - Required
• Two (2) Years Experience - Required
