Student Research Assistant

Functions as a Student Research Assistant to provide support of daily operations in a research laboratory within the Khan Lab. Assists with research activities under direct supervision in collaboration with other students and lab staff, report results and prepare presentations; assists with collection of and organizes research data; prepares media, solutions, and reagents for use in experiments; performs and maintains cell cultures; conducts library research; washes glassware used in laboratory; autoclaves (sterilizes) glassware, tools and equipment as needed; assists with inventory and maintenance of research supplies, performs immunohistochemistry, performs western blot. Additional responsibilities as requested. Must be willing to work in a team environment.
