What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or activity, and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Control access to restricted areas and verify the credentials of individuals entering the premises, in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any hazards or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed written reports as required by site procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications to carry out armed security-related duties.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
