Position Summary:

A Senior Programmer Analyst will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support the organization's ERP applications. They also provide support to our manufacturing plants by developing, maintaining, and implementing RPG programs for our ERP software (CMS) including customizing and configuring to business processes to ensure undisrupted workflow.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, write and maintain RPG programs based on Epicor CMS system code
  • Determine internal customer requirements for custom programming requirements and changes
  • Perform all programming changes required using IBM Power I RPG or CL programming language
  • Properly document all custom changes with proper approvals and proof of user acceptance testing results
  • Support IT's Helpdesk to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues
  • Identify, recommend, develop and implement end-user training to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency
  • Design, code, and test new and existing programs
  • Create and maintain custom code in a development environment and deploy to one or more production environments
  • Perform gap analysis between existing system functionality and internal customer requirements
  • Provide guidance and training to ERP team members and represent the ERP team in internal/external meetings
  • Follow proper change management controls as set forth by Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience
  • 5+ years direct experience in AS400 RPGLE and CLLE programming for Power I
  • At least 3 years programming in Epicor CMS ERP application or other ERP application on Power I server
  • Proficiency in IBM Power I (as/400) technologies - RPG IV (ILE), DB2/400 RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE
  • Extensive, proven knowledge of programming concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL server, including integration/developing queries
  • Experience and understanding of production support and performance engineering
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with client interfacing skills
  • Competence to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment preferred

The base pay for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually.

This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.

Squat or bend to perform various duties. Occasionally climb stairs.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
