As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the campus. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, assisting students and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities and collaborate with local law enforcement or first responders when needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
